Mt. Vernon, Illinois – March 24th, 2025 – Dissent on Mars, a sci-fi life simulator where you create new societies unlike anything on Earth, is coming to Steam on April 7th. Players will design their economy and government, build their colony, and experience their choices firsthand by living as a colonist.
Dissent on Mars lets players create dozens of different societies to live in, some of which have never been tried on Earth. For example, players can create economies that encourage cooperation instead of competition. In this type of economy, colonists work together to decide what products to make and which resources to use.
Players can also create societies where the entire economy is run by worker co-ops, a supercomputer, wealthy CEOs, and more! Each society has different pros and cons, so the game’s difficulty will change based on the player’s design.
