“Opening the The Boulton family mansion to our players as part of the game’s biggest update yet is the next step in the journey to explore this family’s mysterious past and discover what Grandma may be hiding,” said Jonas Martens, Game Lead for Merge Mansion. “Our fans have been clamoring for years to enter the mansion, making it easily our most requested piece of content for the game. We’ve debated as a team the right moment to unlock this next chapter in the game’s exciting lore and answer the calls of our players, and I’m thrilled to say that the time is now.”
"We are excited to go live with this major update and finally open the doors to the Mansion," said Metacore's VP Brand Marketing Sandra Fenyo. "Campaigns like this are a good reminder that Merge Mansion isn't just about the game. For many, it's just as much about the lore, the surrounding community and speculating what Grandma is hiding. For our team, it's an opportunity to combine entertainment, immersive storytelling, advertising, and a relaxing and fun game under one title. We're constantly thinking of new ways to surprise our players and can't wait to reveal where the Merge Mansion story goes next."
Metacore will host its highly-anticipated event tonight at the famed Paramour Estate, transforming the venue into the Boulton family mansion in an immersive experience that is part live-action theater, part escape room and part lore museum. The developer will be joined by stars like Pedro Pascal, Jesse Williams and Ashley Benson, among others, for this momentous occasion celebrating the game’s milestone update.
