Walnut Creek, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2022) – Maximum Games today revealed its brand-new, fully renovated office building located in downtown Walnut Creek in San Francisco’s East Bay. The new building boasts a stunningly remodeled, modernized office space that will house 40 full-time local employees and will serve as a hub for its 20+ U.S.-based remote employees throughout 10 different states, as well as visiting team members from its acquired studios, Mane6 (Them’s Fightin’ Herds) and Modus Studios Brazil (Override 2: Super Mech League).
The new office, designed by commercial architecture and construction company, Aecore, sports a variety of features curated specifically for development and publishing: a first-class playtest room that features two side-by-side 75” 4K LED flat panel TVs, an eye-catching, sound-proof recording studio for live streaming and video recording, a customized graphics room with lighting specifically designed to give the Maximum family of artists the best possible view of their work on a large scale, and an open office floor plan to collaborate.
Additionally, the office supplies a relaxing wellness room that can be used to nurse, stretch, meditate, pray, nap, or replenish your mind and body with some yoga. Out-of-towners can refresh from travel in the attached full-size bathroom with shower and changing room. Finally, a large designer kitchen is outfitted with atrium-style windows for increased natural lighting.

Following year-over-year success since its inception in 2009, Maximum Games was acquired by Swedish-based Zordix Games late last year, with Seelye taking the helm as the CEO of the parent company. Maximum has experienced solid growth as both a distributor and a publisher, including 18 games on its Modus Games publishing label since its launch in 2018. The new 8,500-square-foot office, located at 1485 Treat Blvd, Walnut Creek, allows for additional growth as the company continues to excel in the games development and publishing space. Following its merger with Zordix, Maximum saw its headcount increase from 51 to 210.
