SneakyBox, game development and porting studio, expands to Poland, recruiting local talents within game development

Poland's thriving game development industry and top-tier technical talent inspire new business growth

Vilnius, Lithuania – October 24, 2024 – SneakyBox, a growing game development and porting studio, is excited to announce its expansion into Poland. With a newly established legal entity in the country, SneakyBox has begun laying the foundation for a new business unit, including actively recruiting local talents from Poland’s vibrant game development sector. This expansion is a key part of SneakyBox's strategy to scale operations and deepen its partnerships in the European gaming industry.

We're super excited to start our venture in Poland, which is a buzzing hub of game development. We see Poland as a great fit to expand our horizons, as many talented video game developers live here. Our vision is to grow our international team and embrace a variety of unique perspectives and backgrounds within our team. We aim to foster a culture where unique contributions are valued, enabling us to craft games that resonate with a global audience and push the boundaries of creativity,” comments Liudas Ubarevičius, CEO & Co-Founder of SneakyBox.

Poland was selected for this expansion due to its highly skilled workforce and strong technical universities, which produce well-prepared talent for the game development industry. SneakyBox also aims to strengthen ties with Polish studios, building on its successful collaboration with Untold Tales, a key local partner that played a pivotal role in setting up the new entity.

“We've established strong connections and hope to secure our place in this very exciting market. Poland is a country where hard work, sharp negotiation, and rapid growth are deeply embedded in the business culture. There is still much we can learn from them about competition and growth. This could be beneficial for Lithuanians, as we are not only geographically close but also share history together. It's just a matter of finding the right opportunities, adds Liudas.

Future Plans and Industry Engagement

As part of its expansion, SneakyBox plans to establish a physical office in Poland to house the new business unit, which will focus on game development and studio collaborations. The company is committed to engaging with Poland’s gaming ecosystem and looks forward to working closely with local studios.

To further strengthen ties with the industry, SneakyBox's team of over 30 employees will be attending the GIC (Game Industry Conference) in Poland this week. Their presence at the event provides an excellent opportunity to connect with key figures in the Polish gaming community and explore new partnership opportunities.

If you're attending GIC and would like to connect with SneakyBox, you can find the team through MeetToMatch, add the Business Development team on LinkedIn, or visit SneakyBox Hall on Floor 1. Events can be hectic, and while SneakyBox may not be able to meet everyone, they're always eager to chat.
