Everyone’s favorite zombie fighting photojournalist Frank West returns yet again, this time with the global release of physical versions of Dead Rising™ Deluxe Remaster available starting today across PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X! Additional announcements dropped alongside the physical release, including content updates like the brand new “Casual” difficulty and a free demo experience for anyone new to the game!

For players looking to casually enjoy Zombie Paradise, the brand new Casual difficulty brings an exhilarating and less challenging way to experience Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster! Casual difficulty is available across all three game modes, including 72 Hour Mode, Overtime Mode and Infinity Mode. With increased attack power, reduced damage intake for Frank and survivors, plus more, Casual difficulty is geared toward players who are new to Dead Rising™ and want to experience their first taste of zombie mayhem in a fun and casual environment!
Also dropping today are upgrades for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on the newly released PlayStation®5 Pro, introducing enhanced raytracing support throughout the game, all at a 60 FPS frame rate!*
Additional content updates also include Arabic language support, as well as various bug fixes throughout the game.
Free Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Demo!
For anyone new to Dead Rising or who hasn’t tried the new Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, a free demo is now live across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam! Players can enjoy the beginning of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster story and go face-to-face with Willamette Parkview Mall’s undead inhabitants for free starting today!
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster introduces freelance photojournalist Frank West as he ventures to Willamette, Colorado after overhearing there is something unnatural going on in town. Frank soon finds out he is in the middle of a zombie takeover and has to survive for 72 hours! Whether players simply choose to survive or opt to take on the challenge of uncovering the truth about the outbreak is entirely up to them!
