(August 23, 2024) - A new VR/MR hobby, “Vivarium” has announced its upcoming release on the PICO Store alongside the new PICO 4 Ultra device. “Vivarium”, developed by StudioX at DoubleMe, is a new simulation game where you can create unique ecosystems, raise virtual pets and grow plants in the most aesthetic ways. A game designed to immerse and connect with nature from your room in virtual or mixed reality.

PICO is finally bringing new mixed reality games to its platform, Vivarium is one of them. You will now be able to use virtual glass tanks for simulating different environments that will host diverse pets like amphibians, reptiles and some small mammals.
You will be able to feed them and see them grow, decorate their space and grow plants to maintain a harmonious environment.
This unique game is now available to wishlist on the PICO store, and it promises to be a great new experience for virtual reality gamers.
Key Game Features include:
- Design and create your different ecosystems: Select a glass tank and combine soil, rocks, wood, and mosses to create a nice environment for your pets and plants. Add decoration items to give your vivarium its own narrative.
- Look after your plants and pets: Take good care of your vivarium by watering your plants and feeding your pets. You will also need to manage other elements to maintain your vivarium in good condition. Make sure to interact with your pets and show them some love.
- Display and share your creations: Set your created vivariums in your virtual lobby gallery or in your room in mixed reality to appreciate their beauty. Share them with others to exchange ideas for future designs.
- Immerse in nature: Expand your vivarium in your room in mixed reality to feel like you are inside of it. Observe your pets and plants from up close.
- Challenge yourself: Earn extra rewards by challenging yourself in our mission mode.
- Collect all plants and animals: Obtain all the different plants and animals and learn more about them to unlock some additional rewards.
