VANCOUVER, 30 MARZO 2023 - Red Hook Studios pubblica oggi l'ultimo aggiornamento per la versione in accesso anticipato di Darkest Dungeon II, "Redemption Road", che rinnova e rielabora i sistemi di esplorazione della mappa implementando funzionalità strategiche e semplificando i comandi. La diligenza sarà ora vulnerabile a vari tipi di pericoli e disporrà di indicatori per le ruote e l'armatura, che si logoreranno durante il tragitto. Sarà quindi più importante che mai fare una ricognizione in anticipo e scegliere attentamente le strade da percorrere.
E finalmente, sono arrivati anche gli animali domestici! Ci sono 10 animali da sbloccare, ognuno dei quali sortirà determinati effetti sulla spedizione. Questi simpatici e distorti compagni doneranno uno spiraglio di luce in un mondo altrimenti desolato. L'aggiornamento comprende una serie di altre modifiche al gameplay, aggiustamenti al bilanciamento di gioco e miglioramenti alla qualità generale. Queste modifiche includono funzionalità richieste dalla comunità come la riconfigurazione della Valle, la riprogettazione delle meccaniche che contribuiscono al livello di pericolosità del mondo e l'introduzione di un sistema di candele più permissivo, soprattutto per i nuovi giocatori. Darkest Dungeon II uscirà dall'accesso anticipato l'8 maggio di quest'anno su Steam ed Epic Games Store. La versione completa del gioco includerà dodici eroi, ognuno dei quali avrà la sua storia personale costituita da cinque capitoli, cinque regioni, cinque boss finali e un'esperienza di metagioco ("L'Altare della Speranza") ricca di potenziamenti permanenti.
