FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Releasing today, players can take control of loved-up radio hosts Poe and Munro in the DARK NIGHTS WITH POE AND MUNRO demo: a Full Motion Video (FMV) game of six supernatural tales navigated using “hotspot” decision points with replayable endings.
The PC demo gives players the first of six episodes for free and enables them to carry on from where they left off should they decide to purchase the full game. Episode one features the voice of Justin McElroy as a serial killer who turns up at the radio station to hunt his prey. The demo is released alongside the soundtrack and latest game patch which adds text hints to the current on-screen hotspots.
D’Avekki Studios Director, Tim Cowles, said: “Dark Nights with Poe and Munro was meant to be a quick spin-off project after developing The Shapeshifting Detective but it turned into our biggest budget monster so far! We’re excited to be able to add new features and release a demo so more people can access their adventures.” The demo drops ahead of an upcoming announcement for the studio’s 5th FMV videogame.
Players can download the demo and play the first episode for free at the STEAM store now:
There are currently no plans to bring the demo to other platforms:
XBOX
PLAYSTATION
