Game Night Launches in Early Access for Meta Quest

Invite your friends over for a quirky collection of mixed reality party games that gets everyone moving

Christchurch—November 18, 2024—Fantail Games announced today that Game Night has launched in Early Access for Meta Quest devices. Blending arcade action and multiplayer mayhem, Game Night features a collection of casual and intuitive mixed reality minigames for players of all ages. Challenge yourself or invite friends and family over with their headsets over for the ultimate Game Night as you run, dodge, scoop, bob and slap around the room. Everyone’s welcome!


“The best moments in testing Game Night have been when adults play with their kids,” says Fantail Games founder Steven Linton. “Everyone gets into it and connects in a way you just don't see with traditional video games. Mixed reality is the secret sauce in getting the whole gang into the experience of playing face-to-face together in the same room, running around, laughing and having a great time.”


Game Night features three minigames at Early Access launch, with additional games and features to be added as final launch approaches:

 
  • Fishing: players compete to scoop the most fish into the basket
  • Bouncing: players bat their balloon rabbits into carrots for points 
  • Slapping: stop the alien jelly menace!

Supporting 1-4 players, each person can decide to work together or competitively for an experience that is as unique as the group they’re playing with.
