The game contains the following features:
-> A physics-based coop paddle mechanic
-> Local and Online Coop (+ Steam Remote Play Together Support)
-> Achievements and Customization to unlock during your playthrough
-> Voice-Lines and a commentator who makes fun of the player (englisch and german audio)
-> A high frustration-factor when falling down
-> Optional Checkpoints and a lot of accessibility-options
The idea for Paddle Paddle Paddle came while Mateo took a Shower… Within 2 weeks he developed a Demo Level that was already played and streamed by big Streamers from Germany such as „PietSmiet“ or „PhunkRoyal“. The Demo is free-to-play on Steam and offers a 1-hour-long Demo Level and even includes a local and online-Coop. You can paddle together with a friend and test your friendship right now!
The game concept is simple and unique. It could definetly go viral just like the Games Chained Together or Carry the Glass , which inspired Mateo to develope his own Coop RageGame.
The game will launch on Steam at the end of May, but the exact release-date will be announced by Mateo soon! A mobile and console launch might also happen when the PC Launch gets enough traction and players.
Mateo is a solo-gamedeveloper with passion and heart who also published the Shark-Metroidvania Makis Adventure (January 2023) and soon the Dungeon-Crawler Deckbuilder Rogue Jungle (October 2025).
