This update introduces enhancements based on player feedback, free digital bonus content, and paves the way for the game's future expansion, including an upcoming mobile release and new story chapters.

The latest free update for Sunset Hills is now live on Steam, delivering several key improvements and additions:
- Enhanced Chapter 1 Ending: The conclusion to the first chapter has been revisited and expanded to provide a more fulfilling narrative experience, directly addressing player feedback.
- Free Digital Wallpaper Pack: Players can now adorn their desktops with high-quality artwork from the game, available as free DLC on Steam.
- Free Original Soundtrack: The evocative music of Sunset Hills is now available as a free DLC, allowing fans to enjoy the game's atmosphere anytime.
- Gameplay Optimizations & Bug Fixes: Various improvements have been implemented for smoother gameplay and increased stability.
Alongside the update, Cotton Game has announced that Sunset Hills is coming soon to mobile platforms. Pre-registration is open on Google Play, and pre-orders are available on the App Store.
Furthermore, Cotton Game shared a glimpse into the future development roadmap for Sunset Hills, confirming ongoing work on localization enhancements (including polishing English/Japanese and adding Spanish), planned ports for Nintendo Switch™ and future hardware, and significantly, a major free content update featuring the new Wickle City chapter, scheduled for release later this year. The studio plans to share development progress through regular dev logs.
