March 2, 2023 - Hooded Horse’s popular dark fantasy roguelike city builder is back with another update. Fresh from the recent focus on the city-building layer, the developers have switched gear to give the world map some love.
The ‘Modifiers’ update introduces eight new modifiers to the world map, all inspired by a recent ‘community brainstorm’ held by Eremite. This update also takes another swing at the trade route interface and rebalances a swathe of Orders, both to reduce ones that were too similar to each other and to increase the number of meaningful choices.
Against the Storm is available on PC via Steam Early Access, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $19.99 / £17.99 / 19.99 EUR. It currently holds a 96% ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam with over 7,500 reviews. A press kit is available.
