Los Angeles, California – April 11, 2025 – The latest free update for Spiritfall is now live, and it brings a special crossover with one of the most iconic indie games of the last decade: Dead Cells.
Thanks to a collaboration with Motion Twin, players can now unlock and equip the Prisoner’s signature look in Spiritfall. The crossover cosmetic joins a set of 10 new outfits available in Version 1.6, which also adds new modifiers, challenge levels, and achievements to the fast-paced roguelite.

CUSTOM RUN MODIFIERS
Version 1.6 introduces a system that lets players customize their runs in new ways. After completing five runs, new modifiers can be selected before each attempt. Whether you want more chaos, more control, or just more ways to experiment, there’s something here for every playstyle. With over 20 modifiers to unlock, the update offers a fresh experience every run.
CHALLENGE LEVEL 15
The update also brings five new high-level challenges, pushing the cap to Challenge Level 15. These stages include effects like Burden of Boons, where every Spirit Blessing increases the damage you take, and Degradation, which causes blessings to lose rarity over time unless protected.

Spiritfall is a fast-paced action roguelike that combines the tight, responsive combat of platform fighters with the strategic depth of build-focused roguelikes. Players battle through procedurally generated regions using powerful Divine Blessings, fluid movement, and customizable weapons. With over 160 unique upgrades and a growing list of unlockable masks and skins, each run offers new ways to experiment and evolve.
Between battles, players return to the Sanctum, where they’ll unlock permanent upgrades, meet a cast of quirky and mysterious characters, and prepare for their next attempt.
