November 28, 2023 - Hooded Horse is excited to share the latest from Fata Deum, its upcoming god game. After a year of new hires, new processes, and plenty of behind-the-scenes improvements, the team at 42 Bits Entertainment now looks towards 2024, with a fresh new demo being the first step on the road to release.
In the latest development blog, the team outlines improvements to UI, new gameplay features, better AI behavior, and performance tweaks. They’ve also introduced some highly requested features from alpha testers, and finished work on a new six-player map. Last but not least, the character of the different gods in the game is made manifest with bespoke visual assets that will subtly influence the environment to match a god’s theme.

As the team heads into 2024, they are working on a refreshed demo experience set on a new map that will showcase all of the improvements the project has received over the past year.
Fata Deum will release into early access for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. A press kit is available.
