Inhuman Resources: A Literary Machination Launching on Steam in Q2

Montreal, QC Canada –March 6, 2025– Video game publisher Indie Asylum will be launching Inhuman Resources: A Literary Machination on Steam on April 16th. A downloadable demo version of the game is currently being featured in the context of the Steam Visual Novel Fest until March 10th.
 

Inhuman Resources: A Literary Machination is a mind-bending choose-your-own-adventure RPG set inside the anachronistic halls of SMYRNACORP, a company that operates under its own unique logic. Navigate a nonlinear story with multiple endings, solving cryptic puzzles and making tough choices while developing skills and uncovering hidden paths to escape with your sanity intact.
 

It blends interactive puzzles, multimedia content, and immersive storytelling, redefining the reading experience without sacrificing narrative depth. Investigate evidence, examine footage, hack into colleagues’ computers, and crack safes to reveal the truth behind SMYRNACORP’s influence. What unspeakable horrors would you commit for minimum wage?
 

The game features a collection of short stories by Canadian authors, expanding the world’s lore. With full English and French localization, players can enjoy the experience in their preferred language while engaging with a richly crafted, mind-bending narrative.
