LOS ANGELES – August 25, 2022 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has released a new update for the popular mobile action role-playing game THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR, featuring a new collaboration with the acclaimed fighting game, TEKKEN 7. Starting today, players can experience new playable characters, battle cards, events and more.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR x TEKKEN 7 Collaboration adds Hwoarang (Blue Element / Attack Type) as a new playable EX fighter. This master of Taekwondo increases TEKKEN Fighter’s ATK by 65%. His Special Skill increases ATK SPD by 10% for 7 seconds when using Active Skills (Cooldown: 10 seconds) and deals Physical DMG equal to 120% of ATK when a Critical Hit lands.
Nina Williams (Yellow Element / Defense Type), the famous Irish assassin in the TEKKEN series has also been added as a new EX fighter. Her attributes increase TEKKEN Fighter’s ATK by 60% and decreases Tag Cooldowns by 2 seconds. Nina’s Special Skill increases ATK by 18% if HP is 50% or higher and increases Critical DMG and DEF by 10% for 5 seconds upon landing an attack (up to 5 Stacks).
New TEKKEN 7 Collab battle cards (Special/Option/Set) have also been added which increases ATK by 2%, Active Skill DMG by 4.5%, and Critical DMG by 6%. It also increases Critical Rate by 5% and Critical DMG by 20% for 10 seconds upon usage.
Players can celebrate the Tekken 7 Collab game update by participating in various in-game events and obtain special rewards including:
- Boss Showdown: Devil Jin: This new Boss Challenge offers players to clear the stage by applying various penalties that give different points. Stages can be cleared according to the points they receive along with special rewards.
- Paul in Wonderland Rush Dungeon: Players can collect and exchange coins for various items by clearing each stage in this dungeon. Upon completion of a round, players will receive the Collab Fighter Soul Random Box and Rubies.
- Tekken 7 Collaboration 2nd Round Dice Event: Using Dice Points, players can move Alisa and obtain various rewards depending on where she lands. Rewards include the Collab Affinity Mystery Box and Awaken EXP Box along with other items.
- Additional Events: New themed-events such as Check-in, TEKKEN Crafting, Event Codex, and more will also be available.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR boasts fast-paced fighting action as players battle through waves of enemies, giant bosses, and rival fighter teams. The excitement is paired with cutting edge graphics, bold colors, and lightning-fast animations. In addition, this game features all of KOF’s classic fighters from ’94 to XIV, with more than 130 fighters available to collect, along with more to come with seasonal events, collaborations with popular IP such as, SAMURAI SHODOWN, Seven Knights, and more.
