TORRANCE, Calif. — Oct. 22, 2024 — XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today released Potionomics: Masterwork Edition on the Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles, available digitally and in a limited physical release. An expanded version of Voracious Games’ award-winning concoction of potion crafting, magical shop sim, deck-building, and RPG-style romance, the Masterwork Edition spices up the mixture with new features including voice acting to bring the story to life, Cozy and Capitalism difficulty options, and Endless gameplay mode expanding replayability. The Masterwork Edition also includes an expanded role for wealthy potion dealer and rival Boss Finn, who joins the cast of romanceable characters with brand-new story scenes, “life coach” services Sylvia can purchase for added benefits in potion-selling, and cards to expand her haggling skills.
The PC version of Potionomics has received a free update alongside the console release, adding many new gameplay features including voice acting, difficulty modes, Endless gameplay mode, and additional improvements. The update is free for all current owners and is included in the PC release moving forward. The “Boss Finn Content Pack” and all it entails is available on PC via Steam separately as downloadable content priced at $4.99.
