BELLEVUE, APRIL 28 - Double Dagger Studio is delighted to announce that everyone’s favorite kitty-chaos mini-open-world adventure, Little Kitty, Big City, will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this May 9 – Kitty's first birthday! PlayStation players will now be able to step into the itty bitty paws of a little cat lost in a Japan-inspired city, making new friends and causing maximum chaos as they gradually make their way back home.
Little Kitty, Big City originally launched on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S on May 9, 2024. Since then, Kitty has featured in numerous Game of the Year lists, popped up on countless adorable Twitch and YouTube channels, and has been nominated for BAFTA Awards, DICE Awards, the Golden Joystick Awards and has won Debut Game Winner 2024 at The Indie Game Awards, Best Cozy Game award 2024 from Shacknews, and Xbox Excellence Award from Microsoft.
Little Kitty, Big City takes around 2-3 hours to complete.
It should take completionists around 5-7 hours to find every collectible
Will you make your way home or will you explore what the big city has to offer first? I mean, getting home is obviously your main priority. Obviously. Well, it's one of your priorities. Maybe more of a guideline... It's definitely on your To-Do list somewhere! But first? Exploration!
- Explore the city at your own pace in an open-world playground filled with surprises!
- Make friends with a colorful cast of chatty animals.
- Complete quests, help your animal friends, or cause a total ruckus. It’s up to you.
- Customize your Kitty with a plethora of very adorable hats!
- Take a nap in the sunshine.
- Find a way home...?
