VANCOUVER, British Columbia – August. 7, 2024 - The deeply customizable online co-op space shooter CounterAttack: Uprising - developed by Relative Games and published by Relative Software LTD. – now has a Demo available on the Steam Store. With bugfixes and gameplay improvements the CounterAttack: Uprising Demo offers an intense gaming experience with hundreds of ship and weapon attachments, 2 of the 8 playable characters, and versatile co-op gameplay for 2-8 players online (or 1-4 players local co-op).
In the CounterAttack: Uprising Demo, humanity is faced with a mechanical apocalypse. Beings known as “Automatons” are hellbent on the complete eradication of the human race – assembling a seemingly unstoppable armada and laying waste to everything in their path. There is no escape, humanity is forced to rush the Experimental Space Fighter program into production with 8 (2 available in Demo) pilots leading the charge – each with their own ship and special ability supercharged by powerful Quantium:
Sloane: Top pilot, leads Earth's defence squadrons. Ultimate: Fighter Squadron.
Marcus: Stole an experimental fighter because it looked fun. Ultimate: Meson Shockwave.
Ayumi, Joe, Biff, Sarah, Jinx, and Carl make an appearance in the full game but are not playable in the Demo.
Fly solo or team up with other players in couch or online co-op. Build your ultimate ship by unlocking powerful upgrades – including special abilities and hundreds attachments ranging from engine turbos to full weapon conversions. Leverage the combination power-up system to create new weapons from millions of possible combinations – and make your mark with a unique fighting style.
