The upcoming sci-fi RPG shooter Snowbreak: Containment Zone has reached a major milestone in its lead up to launch, surpassing 2 million pre-registrations. To celebrate the lead-up to launch, developers Amazing Seasun Games have revealed new launch rewards, optimizations and new features coming to the game and are also looking forward to meeting fans in person at Anime Expo, Bilibili World, Gamers Con, Comic Market 102, and Players Meeting.
Having just concluded a successful closed beta in which players from 147 countries participated, Snowbreak: Containment Zone is readying to launch this July. Since opening pre-registration, Snowbreak has had over 2 million sign-ups. Throughout the pre-registration period, players have unlocked bonus rewards, including in-game currency, resources, an exclusive skin for Lyfe Bestla’s Outfit the Interstellar Voyager, and most recently an exclusive weapon mod loadout that players are able to choose. Players can look forward to more rewards during launch such as a selectable SSR character as a reward.
SSR Character
At launch, players that complete the fifth chapter in the main storyline will be able to select an SSR orange-tier character. The specially designed characters feature unique exoskeletons different from the original characters and also bring special ability bonuses to characters. Players will be able to choose from Lyfe - Wildhunt, Fenny - Coronet, Marian - Swift, Yao - Winter Solstice, and a fifth yet to be announced character.
Upcoming Features and Optimizations
With the help of player feedback, Amazing Seasun Games has planned for several optimizations and new features to be added to the game leading up to its launch. Changes include the addition of rewards for upgrading Neuronics, a reward event for progress made completing the main story, a new interactive feature with the main screen displaying operative, optimization of the game tutorial and combat guidance, along with several interface and stage optimizations as well as overall gameplay optimizations and improvements.
In-person Events
Fans attending Anime Expo are invited to stop by the Snowbreak: Containment Zone booth which will boast a five and a half foot tall Lyfe character figure, located at E-3 in the Entertainment Hall for daily events and prizes. Events include character cosplays, the Detective operation interactive activity, and on July 3rd content creators Gigguk and CDawgVA will be in attendance at the booth. Players not in attendance can look forward to online activities. Prizes for the event include exclusive Snowbreak merch including t-shirts, mouse pads, character stands, pins, tote bags, and more.
In addition to Anime Expo, the developers are excited to interact with fans at Bilibili World in Shanghai July 21 - 23, Gamers Con in Taipei July 27 - 31, Comic Market 102 in Tokyo August 12 - 13, and Players Meeting in Seoul August 12 - 13.
Snowbreak: Containment Zone will be launching with cross-platform support for PC and mobile on July 20th. Players can pre-register for the game ahead of its launch on the App Store, Google Play, or the official site and enjoy exclusive rewards at launch.
