The Lost Paws Trading and Crafting Update Part 2 is now out!

Durham, USA, March 3rd, 2025 - Dungeoneering Studios is excited to announce that Part 2 of the Trading and Crafting Update is now available. With this update, the trading and crafting systems in the game are fully completed. This update also includes a new special event that can occur around 30 minutes of activity in the Government District. The event itself is a UFO that will spawn in and, if chased, will drop valuable items in particular locations that are typically not visited by the player. The game also received localizations for Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), French, German, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Russian, opening new opportunities for more players to enjoy some of the best in dog tech.

In addition, the update features many balance changes. The most important change includes a reduction of Tier-1 Cat Trader equipment by 50% to make it easier for players to fight the main enemies of the area, the Shadow Cabal. It also includes an increase of spawn timers for stores in the Government District and better loot, such as Catnip near the shipment panel, which helps lower Cat Trader prices. Together, these changes intend to provide more options to get Kibble and make it more fun to play for longer.

Combined with the 1st part of this update (which can be read here), the full version of trading and crafting massively transforms the game from a simple dog-based adventure to a full-blown open-world RPG survival experience. The update was worked on for months with multiple playtests to refine what players will experience. Many hours of playtime await anyone who takes the plunge to try their hand at surviving as a dog.

To commemorate the transformation of the game, Lost Paws will be 40% off from March 3rd to March 10th on Steam. There has never been a better time to get the best in dog-based technology.
