The Outlast Trials “V1” release today is the culmination of invaluable player feedback received since its Early Access launch on PC in May 2023, with over 1.6 million copies sold worldwide. About The Outlast Trials
It’s 1959, and the trans-national Murkoff Corporation is using a recruitment agency to identify potential test subjects to turn into the perfect sleeper agents. These “Reagents” are forced to undergo terrible physical and psychological trials, until they have been conditioned for perfect obedience and are ready to be released back into society, waiting to be triggered at an opportune time.
Players take on the role of one of these untrained civilians, and can fully customize their look, as well as their cells in the Sleep Room - the area where Reagents can meet the unique denizens, unwind in between Murkoff’s harrowing experiments, or face off against other test subjects with chess or arm wrestling.
