OCTOBER 10 2023, KYOTO, JAPAN - Independent developer Q-Games are excited to share that PixelJunk Eden 2 is participating in Steam Next Fest. The unique meditative platforming experience was directed by visionary multimedia artist Baiyon and is part of the award-winning PixelJunk series of games, which celebrated 15 years of play this year.
Players are invited to download a free exclusive demo ahead of the game’s full release later this year, to explore two unique gardens as they hunt for the elusive Spectra. Available for the first time in full 4K, this stunning demo experience will be available from October 10th until the conclusion of Steam Next Fest on October 16th. The demo can be downloaded now from the PixelJunk Eden 2 Steam page.
With full local co-op support, PixelJunk Eden 2 sees up to two players twirling, leaping, and tumbling through the beautiful gardens of Eden, accompanied by a mesmerising soundtrack and psychedelic visuals. The environment changes and evolves based on the player’s actions, and by collecting pollen and filling seeds to sprout new plants, players will open up new traversal opportunities and gradually restore life to the gardens.
The full game will launch later this year on Steam, the Epic Games Store and PlayStation, replete with many expansive and visually varied gardens, over 40 game-altering Spices to collect and over 20 unique playable Grimps with distinct abilities to meet, making each trip into the world of PixelJunk Eden 2 a unique, cozy adventure.
