Today, game developer Nomad Games officially launched Talisman: Digital 5th Edition on Steam. A digital adaptation of the 5th Edition of the Talisman board game from Avalon Hill, licensed by Games Workshop, Talisman: Digital 5th Edition is now available on Steam for £24.99/$29.99.
Originally released in 1983 by Games Workshop, Talisman is a fantasy board game where players embark on an epic quest through a land full of dangerous enemies and treacherous challenges. Talisman: Digital 5th Edition is the digital adaptation of the 5th Edition of the Talisman board game, developed by Nomad Games in collaboration with Games Workshop.
Following on from their highly successful title Talisman: Digital Edition (now renamed Talisman: Digital Classic Edition), the team at Nomad Games have created a follow-up using the knowledge, experience and player feedback they’ve gained in the over 10 years since launching Talisman: Digital Edition, their first title as a studio. With over 1.5 million units for Talisman: Digital Edition being sold since launch, Nomad Games are looking to continue their success in adapting Talisman digitally with this new edition.

In Talisman: Digital 5th Edition, players are able to experience a fully faithful adaptation of the much-loved board game, featuring all of the rules updates and gameplay changes featured in the 5th Edition. The game will also include new features such as a Deck Editor, allowing players to customise their games more than ever before, and play their creations with their friends online.
Alongside adapting the 5th Edition, Nomad Games are planning to remaster all of the expansions that they originally released for Talisman: Digital Edition, and bring them forward into Talisman: Digital 5th Edition entirely free of charge for owners of that original content, starting with The Reaper Expansion.

Talisman: Digital 5th Edition is available now on Steam, with other platforms to follow. Players can also follow the game now on Steam to stay up to date with the latest news. It is available to purchase for £24.99/$29.99 or the regional equivalent.
Talisman: Digital Edition has now become Talisman: Classic Edition, and can now be downloaded for free from Steam, GOG, the Google Play Store and the App Store.
