They…Are…Alive! Embrace Your Inner Dr. Frankenstein in Creature Lab

Upcoming horror sim invites players to conduct experiments, control abominable creatures and unleash chaos on the world

Warsaw, Poland / December 19, 2022 - Have you ever wondered what it might be like to control your own army of monsters? Developer Image Power understands that need for experimentation (whether you’ve got nefarious intentions or not) and their upcoming first-person horror simulator Creature Lab lets players do just that. Creature Lab invites players to embrace their inner evil scientist by creating monsters to send out into the world and cause all sorts of mayhem for the pesky government.

Creature Lab is all about being a little bit evil. Sometimes it’s okay to steal candy from a baby, right? With the ultimate goal of using your scientific knowledge for the betterment of your “career,” players are tasked with mixing together different chemicals to conjure a unique mutagen to bring the dead back to life. Once your perfect monster has been created you can send it out into the world to wreak havoc and keep the nosy government away from the lab.

Don’t let your genius go to waste. Creature Lab encourages players to experiment on test subjects in order to make a variety of new and seemingly limitless creepy creations. Mix mutagens together, analyze their properties, grow DNA-based body parts and attach them to your subjects. But keep your work under wraps because the government is always listening. The more of your subjects you send into the city, the more intel the government will gather and will raise the risk of the lab being raided.

Even with the feds watching, players will have to gather their own resources. Thankfully, you can have your test subjects gather materials in the city. Manage these resources carefully and keep them organized in order to stay one step ahead. But if you do manage to be found out, use your most powerful experiments to shut down the enemy before your lab is destroyed.

Features:

  • Single-player Campaign Mode: Embark on a path of a genius, yet wicked scientist whose main goal is to make the ultimate mutagen to turn the entire world into creatures controlled by them. Avoid the government by spreading panic and playing a role in the Dark Web.
  • Take on Side Quests with The Dark Webs system: Accept deals from shady corporations to do a variety of tasks such as sending out a specific mutagen or monster into the world. In return, players acquire resources and tokens. Use tokens on the city map to destroy military forces, destroy evidence and more.
  • Endless Replayability: No playthrough is alike, chemicals in the lab will constantly change, forcing players to discover hundreds of different mutagens to experiment with.
  • Complex Inventory Management: Manage resources and expand your hideout. Send your experiments to collect or steal resources.
  • Mad Scientist Simulator with Strategic Elements: Conduct crazy experiments, mix mutagens, grow DNA-based body parts, and attach them to test subjects. Plan accordingly when sending out mutants into the world to carry out missions.

Creature Lab is set to release January 19th, 2023 on Steam for $19.99. Players can wishlist the game now, as well join the community for up-to-date news.
