Global game publisher GRYPHLINE is proud to share that POPUCOM, the upcoming whimsical co-op adventure platformer game, has ranked among the top-performing demos at Steam Next Fest, placing in the top two Active Demo Players and in the top three Trending Upcoming categories, which include all games that participated in the event since Oct. 14. The free demo is available to download digitally on Steam through Oct. 21 and has reached over 14,000 peak concurrent players, according to SteamDB. POPUCOM is the latest from the creators of the beloved tactical RPG and tower defense hybrid hit, Arknights and is coloring its way onto the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
POPUCOM’s inclusion in Steam Next Fest marks the first playable public demo following its Western debut at Gamescom and PAX West this year, and earned praise for its intuitive co-op gameplay and eye-catching visuals:

POPUCOM is a fantasy adventure set in a mysterious parallel universe. Co-start your journey by teaming up with a friend – and enter a world filled with colorful settings. Grab a Rainbow Popper and fire-colored bullets at the naughty Pomus. Matching three Pomus of the same color instantly pops and eliminates the threat. In addition to the Pomus, players must discover the right timing for jumping, changing color, or activating special mechanisms to navigate the stages successfully.
