August 9, 2023 - Hooded Horse is excited to announce that another new title has joined its exciting roster of strategic and tactical games. Super Fantasy Kingdom is a roguelite city-building game from solo developer Feryaz Beer. The game quietly released a demo a few months ago that garnered enormous attention, resulting in over 85,000 wishlists in the past three months.
Pick a hero, assemble a team, and defend the realm against increasingly difficult hordes of monsters while slowly uncovering the mysteries of the world. Super Fantasy Kingdom focuses on exploration and party building over micromanagement. Early runs will be brief as defenses get overrun quickly, but in true roguelite fashion, each subsequent session offers opportunities to progress further with greater resources, upgrades to heroes, and better troops.
Players assemble their defenders from hundreds of choices; fantasy monsters, armored warriors – many of which get unlocked over time as players uncover more of the world. Different party builds can exploit unique synergies to hold off the invading hordes for as long as possible. Just make sure everyone is well-fed at the end of the day!
A modest array of core resources and production chains keeps base building manageable and connects it with combat and exploration to provide more meaningful choices. If defeat is inevitable, what’s the best use of these resources before the monsters come? A vast world is waiting to be explored, where players can uncover unique items, quests, challenges, and more, activating permanent advancements for the kingdom and future sessions.

Super Fantasy Kingdom will be localized from English into German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Czech, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
