Which Way Up: Galaxy Games Coming to Nintendo Switch + Kickstarter Announcement

Sydney, Australia - September 10, 2024 | Sydney-based Turtle Flip Studio have announced that their upcoming gravity-bending party platformer Which Way Up: Galaxy Games will be coming to Nintendo Switch in Q1 2025, in addition to Steam.

"Nintendo Switch was always a consideration for us as its multiplayer focus and easy to pickup-and-play style lends itself perfectly to the platform," studio director Nick Cellini stated.

The game will be launching its Kickstarter campaign in late September in an effort to add more refined gameplay features, online multiplayer and additional platforms. By supporting the game on Kickstarter, backers can purchase physical merchandise, additional copies of the game and the first 200 backers can receive an early bird discount.

Which Way Up: Galaxy Games currently has a demo available on Steam, so you can play it right now.

Which Way Up: Galaxy Games is scheduled to launch in Q1 2025 on Steam and Nintendo Switch. For more information, be sure to follow the game's development on Twitter (X), Instagram and TikTok, all @WhichWayUpGame, and chat with the developers by joining the Discord.

About Which Way Up: Galaxy Games

Which Way Up: Galaxy Games is a family friendly party game that gives unique freedom of movement by allowing you to run on walls and ceilings, orbit around planets, or fall across entire levels by manoeuvring through gravity fields.

Before The Universe existed, the Celestial Space Sprites banded together one-by-one to see a dream come to fruition: the dream of life itself. As The Universe began to take shape, so too did space. But space is unpredictable, and creating life is tiresome work. So, the Sprites took it upon themselves to create a pastime. The Galaxy Games.

Each event features its own unique bite-sized challenge where up to 4 players can compete. Eject your friends into space as you race across gravity fields, score a goal with an entire moon, leap across planets to escape a black hole, and capture and hold zodiacal constellations.

Features

  • Gravity-bending platforming with up to 4 friends locally using Steam Remote Play
  • 7 Space Sprites (5 unlocked in the Demo)
  • Hours of fun for family and friends of all ages
  • 12 Galaxy Games (6 unlocked in the Demo)
