Aloft Celebrates Earth Day and Over 200,000 Sales Milestone

Oslo, Norway – April 22, 2025 – Aloft®, published by Funcom®, is a cozy co-op sandbox survival game about restoring the balance of nature, and developer Astrolabe® Interactive takes that mission to heart in the real world, too. To celebrate Earth Day and reaching 200,000 sales during Early Access, Astrolabe will donate 5% of the net revenue earned during the Earth Appreciation Steam Festival to the Cool Earth Initiative.



Cool Earth’s mission is to support communities to protect rainforests and tackle climate change. On Earth Day, April 22, content creators around the world will livestream in partnership with Cool Earth to raise money that goes directly to the indigenous peoples with the knowledge, skills, and determination to protect the world’s most critical rainforests.

Astrolabe encourages all Aloft players to join in the celebration however they can - watching, streaming, donating, and spreading the word, everything matters.

In Aloft, players soar the open skies where they can transform any floating island into their personal skyship, their home in the clouds. Each island is an ecosystem, some of which have been corrupted by the fungi. Players must fight to cure islands, and then strengthen the ecosystem by increasing its biodiversity and restoring harmony.
