We at King Crow Studios are excited to announce our newest game HIVE SLAYER is now available on Steam and Itch.io for VR headsets. HIVE SLAYER mixes classic quarter machine arcade gameplay with the power of VR to transform you into the galaxy’s deadliest defender.
As a special offer, we’re giving away Hive Slayer 100% FREE, but we are asking that you donate whatever you can afford to the Community Foundation for Southwest Louisiana Hurricane Relief & Recovery fund through the Hive Slayer itch.io. We are based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On top of the global pandemic that everyone must deal with, us Louisianians are dealing with the aftermath of two deadly and massively destructive hurricanes, Laura and Delta. These catastrophic forces have displaced tens of thousands of people. They have destroyed homes, local business, and lives.
The impact of the hurricanes has hit us on a very personal level. Our founder Cody Louviere has been traveling multiple times a week to Lake Charles, Louisiana - hurricane ground zero. A Lake Charles native, he’s been working with his own family - his mother, his father, and siblings - to try to save and repair their homes in the middle of these back-to-back natural disasters.

As we said early, we are a local Louisiana indie developer. In order to help support the Louisiana community affected by Hurricanes Laura and Delta, King Crow Studios will be donating 100% of net proceeds received through the Hive Slayer itch.io page to the Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana’s Hurricane Laura Relief & Recovery Fund. The fund places a focus on providing food, shelter, medicine, and all other necessities needed to stabilize those most in need and grants for future long-term recovery.
