Demo Update: Erenshor is more on "your time" than ever - Steam Deck support!

Gamepad support, Cloud saves, and much more.

New York, 14 June, 2024 - Burgee Media is excited to announce another Erenshor Demo update! This update brings controller and Steam Deck support, Steam cloud saves, and many quality of life improvements.

Gamepad support is still in development and will continue to improve based on player feedback. Those who mainly use a controller or a handheld system like Steam Deck will enjoy an updated controller scheme and gamepad support in the game. Now you can play anywhere, or just kick back in your office chair and use a controller.

Steam Cloud saves

With cloud saves, your game data will carry over between different devices. If you have separate save files on separate devices when you log on, it will ask you which one you want to keep. If you’re having compatibility issues, you can read how to solve it here:

Also included in this update are changes and updates to many aspects of the Erenshor demo experience. SimPlayers are better at group combat - crowd control, tanking, and assisting the tank have all improved. First person view is back and the camera has been adjusted to be smoother.

"Erenshor is all about offering that classic MMO experience on your terms. Getting the game up and running on the Steam Deck was always one of the most important ways to do that and I'm happy to say that's now a reality. Not only do you not have to schedule your playtime around guild raids and friend availability, now you don't even have to be at your desk." - Said Brian Burgee, the solo developer behind the project.

Erenshor has reached a few other notable milestones over the past months, including nearly 20,000 steam wishlists, and over 1000 members in the community discord.
