Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA – June 25th, 2024. Pathless Productions is excited to announce that their new indie game support service, Ludare, is opening to the public today. Ludare allows players to set up a recurring payment that will be split between any indie games they register playtime with for that month. Players register this playtime by logging into any indie game running the service integration using either their Ludare account or the associated platform account for where they are playing the game (Steam, Epic Game Store, etc.).
Ludare provides an easy to integrate web API for developers and pre-built plugins for some game engines including Unreal Engine and Unity Engine. This means developers can be running with Ludare integrated in under 1 day of work.
The initial launch lineup will consist of a few indie games representing an array of indie developers. This includes Sweetcore Brews, an otome dating sim, from Nochi Studios and Ravenwood Acres, a cozy farming simulator RPG, from Azure Ravens Entertainment. A few other games are lined up for the coming weeks that we are excited to announce as they join.
As part of the launch period and to better serve the mission of empowering indie developers, Ludare will be cutting its normal service fee of 20% down to 0% for the first 3 months. This means that any money you put towards the indie games you love will make its way to those developers.
