Last Epoch Season 2 “Tombs of the Erased” Launches Today

Eleventh Hour Games Delivers Its Biggest Update Yet with New Faction, Enhanced Endgame, Major Class Revamp, and More

SAN ANTONIO, TX – THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 2025 – Indie game studio, Eleventh Hour Games, is thrilled to announce that Last Epoch: Tombs of the Erased, the highly anticipated second season of its hit time-traveling Action-RPG, launches today. Available now on Steam as a free update for existing players or $34.99 USD for new players, Season 2 brings the largest content drop in the game's history, featuring a host of new systems, gameplay overhauls, and community-driven improvements.

Explore the Power of the Weaver Faction
Once shrouded in mystery, the Weaver Faction takes center stage in Season 2. Players can now interact with the all-new Weaver Faction Tree, unlocking the ability to influence monolith timelines and enhance their endgame progression. This includes the introduction of Woven Echoes, a new type of Echo packed with unique rewards and deeper lore.

Mastery Re-specialization Is Here
Responding to longstanding community requests, Eleventh Hour Games has removed one of the game’s last permanent restrictions: Mastery Specialization. Players can now change their chosen Mastery by visiting an NPC, eliminating the need to start a new character to try a different build.

Revamped Sentinel Class
Season 2 brings a major overhaul to the Sentinel class, modernizing its skill trees, enhancing mobility and defense options, and bringing its capabilities in line with other classes for a more balanced and dynamic playstyle.

Endgame Expansion and New Challenges
The update introduces Champion Enemies with powerful new affixes, haunting new zones like ancient tombs and eerie cemeteries, and intense boss battles—including a fearsome Uber variant of Aberroth.

Quality-of-Life Improvements Abound
  • Players will also notice a wealth of improvements, including:
  • A new inventory tab system
  • WASD movement support (beta)
  • Dungeon key charms that allow skipping directly to bosses
  • Crafting enhancements and streamlined endgame mechanics
With over two and a half million copies sold, Last Epoch continues to evolve thanks to the passionate support of its growing global community. Last Epoch: Tombs of the Erased is now live on Steam. Players who already own Season 1 can upgrade at no additional cost. The game is available in three versions: the Standard Edition at the original price of $34.99, the Deluxe Edition at $49.99, and the Ultimate Edition at $64.99. Those wishing to support the continued development of Last Epoch and gain cosmetic exclusives can purchase the existing Supporter Pack series ($19.99-$49.99 USD). A new Woven Supporter Pack series is also available today, starting at $9.99 USD.
