Being a passion project, the majority of the game was created by a single developer. The head of Moon Munch Studio has the following to say about the game.
“If I had to encapsulate an inspiration for MoonFire’s story, I would categorize it as something akin to a Game of Thrones or Final Fantasy. 'A Seeker’s Saga' is a tale darker than first realized, with an onion of lore to be peeled layer by layer from beginning to end.”
With nearly 200,000 words, ‘MoonFire: A Seeker’s Saga’ unfolds as a tale darker than first realized. Its lore is meaningfully sculpted across eight chapters to keep the player engaged from beginning to end.

MediBang Games will be handling the publication of the game on Steam and other PC storefronts. Although a demo has previously been released on itch.io, this will be the full and final version. It will include the full story and list of features, in addition to Steam achievements.
