15 NOVEMBER 2024 - Developer Game Frontier just dropped a brand-new story trailer for their upcoming multiplayer social deduction and survival game MISTERY. They're also launching a Kickstarter campaign to give early fans the opportunity to back the project and score themselves some exclusive gear!
This new trailer shows a videotape of how some small errors led to a great disaster. Not following the Special Containment Procedures, MCI employees of Site 14 suffered great losses when performing what should have been a simple task.

About the game
MISTERY is a multiplayer game of survival and social deduction. You work with others to collect materials, survive the dangers, and complete tasks. Beware of monsters, but more of the Alternates disguising as your teammates. They can change into supernatural monsters and attack you at any time.
The game seamlessly blends survival, top-down combat, social deduction, and new weird stories into a unique and visually striking experience, strengthed by a proximity chat system. Join forces with friends to destroy some friendships in MISTERY!
Key Features
Multiplayer Coop & Survival: Up to 9 players cooperate and explore the crumbling site. During the day, scavenge resources, craft weapons, and retrieve batteries. At night, use batteries to charge the lamp, and survive the long dark by employing items and skills to repel waves of monsters.
Alternates Among Us: Beware, someone among the survivors has been contaminated into beasts wearing human skin. Or worse: they are the anomalies imprisoned in the site, eager to rip reality apart! Don't expose your back to anyone. If you notice someone behaving weirdly, let your allies know immediately - if there's anyone left to trust!
Battles of Wits: Despite the site being on the brink of collapse, some facilities are still functional. Watch others through the monitor, recover resources from locked safeboxes, or trigger electric traps to catch unarmed victims!
Fast-Paced Combat: Arm yourself! Hoard bullets, medicines, and enhancers. Craft powerful weapons, get unique equipment from airdrop boxes, and unlock mutation powers! Use your wits and reflexes in the deadliest fights to carve a bloody path out of chaos!
Random Events & New Stories: By introducing a lot of random encounter events, the game builds an environmental storytelling mechanism of new-weird tales. Check them to uncover the true secrets behind MISTERY. In the future, new stories will be released with new mechanics, anomalies, characters, maps, and more.
