Amsterdam, THE NETHERLANDS, February 21, 2022 - Today Rusty Lake, the creator of the Cube Escape & Rusty Lake series, is happy to announce that a demo is now available for their upcoming co-op puzzle game The Past Within. In The Past Within, the past and future cannot be explored alone! Players have to team up, communicate with each other and explore the strange and surreal Rusty Lake universe. This is a very special moment for the studio as it’s the first time fans of the Rusty Lake series can pair up and experience the universe together. The Past Within will be playable cross-device at release via Steam, itch.io, iOS, Android and later via the Nintendo Switch, but each player needs to own a copy of the game. It’s an asymmetrical game and doesn't require an internet connection, but players need to be able to communicate with each other (by being in the same room or talking to each other over the phone, for example).
