Warsaw, Poland – April 14th, 2025 – Just 6 days after launching its Kickstarter campaign, ASTROBOTANICA, the botany-centric, sci-fi survival game from Space Goblin Studio, has officially reached its Kickstarter funding goal of £25,000. With 23 days still remaining in the campaign, the team is now setting its sights on stretch goals, inviting members of the community to help select the game’s potential additional features.
Tapping directly into the quickly growing community on Discord, Space Goblin held a vote to select the first batch of stretch goals for the game. Amassing over 700 votes, the final selection includes:

£30,000 – Taming Pets: You’ll be able to tame and keep animals in your settlement.

£35,000 – Fishing Mechanic: Craft bait and tackle to enjoy fishing as a relaxing and resourceful activity.

£40,000 – Building Plus: Unlock advanced building options to create more interactive structures.
The team aims to keep social channels open in an effort to identify future stretch goals based on player preference.
Additionally, Space Goblin Studio revealed via a campaign update that ASTROBOTANICA is currently undergoing Steam Deck testing to ensure full compatibility, aiming to provide portable gaming enthusiasts with an opportunity to play this sci-fi survival adventure on the go.

The Kickstarter campaign for ASTROBOTANICA runs through May 8, 2025, offering various pledges with exclusive in-game items and personal footprint options. Backers will be invited to an exclusive closed alpha playtest this Summer, where they’ll have an opportunity to play the game via Steam and connect directly with the developer to provide feedback.
