As 2023 reaches its end, we have tallied 82,043 votes and can announce the 2023 Mod of the Year.

December 28th, 2023 - Time to close the chapter on what has been a great year for modding, by celebrating the most creative and popular mods as voted by the community. Each of the winners below deserve our praise, for pushing boundaries and making something amazing on top of the games that they modded, giving us so many reasons to keep playing and exploring new content.

This year saw many compelling entries (if you haven't already we recommend you explore the top 100 nominees), but in the end it was Thief: The Black Parade that took out 1st place, followed closely by the popular Entropy : Zero - Uprising and Half-Life : MMod taking out 2nd and 3rd respectively. The final Top 10 includes:
