December 17, 2024 - Sapporo, Japan - SmileBoom Co.Ltd. has released Update Ver. 1.13 for "RPG Developer Bakin (pronounced BAH-keen)", which adds enhanced battle features, support for importing models in VRM format, and many other features. Ver. 1.13, the last major update for this year, adds new features to the database and battle events to further improve the battle system and battle scenes. In addition, we have added and improved several features, including the implementation of a feature to directly import VRM format models, which was requested by many users.

- Enhanced battle-related features
Bounce back enemy spells, equip a flaming sword and use fire magic, or score more spectacular critical hits.... To make the battle system work for you, we have added a number of new features, primarily in the database and battle events.
- Additional skills that can be used when equipped, and the item's ability to grant specific "states"
- Registration of critical hit effects, and changes in critical damage rate
- "Reflection Rate" ability to reflect skills
- Add more information that can be obtained during battles using battle events
- Feature to interrupt the "order of action" using battle events
- Feature to specify "State Granting" ability using "Tags"
- Improved damage formula setting dialog
In addition to the above, a wide variety of other features have been added.
- Direct import of VRM format models
Models in VRM format, commonly used for 3D avatars, can now be imported directly into Bakin. Materials and motions preinstalled in Bakin are automatically assigned upon import.
This allows VRM models to be more easily used as character models for game creation.
Many other features have been added and improved.
