Hide-and-Seek VR Shooter Mannequin Officially Launches on Meta Quest Store and Steam 

12 September 2024 – Fast Travel Games, the award-winning studio behind Vampire: The Masquerade - Justice, is excited to announce the official launch of Mannequin, an innovative 2v3 hide-and-seek multiplayer FPS, on the Meta Quest Store and Steam for $19.99. Players will receive a time-limited free trial through September 15.

Mannequin offers a unique and thrilling multiplayer experience that pits two teams against each other in a high-stakes game of deception, strategy, and survival. Up to two players take the role of the Agents, while a team of up to three embody Mannequins, shape-shifting aliens that hide in plain sight by posing as human statues. The Agents have scanners that track the Mannequins' rough location. The Agents must spot the Mannequins and take them down with long-range energy guns before the Mannequins have a chance to ambush and freeze them in place with a single touch. 

Leaving early access on App Lab, Mannequin on the Meta Quest Store features performance and stability improvements and bug and quality fixes. Exclusively for Quest 3 players, Mannequin includes visual enhancements, taking advantage of the latest hardware to deliver an even more stunning and immersive experience. These enhancements include material roughness, stronger reflections, higher anisotropic texture filtering, higher MSAA to reduce jaggies, and increased LOD distances. Additionally, all characters have upgraded first person visuals when posing as a Mannequin.

Immediately post-release, Fast Travel Games will announce a free update featuring a new map and content for Mannequin, offering players fresh challenges and environments to explore.

The full version of Mannequin will feature:

• 2v3 Asymmetrical Gameplay: Two players are Agents hunting shape-shifting Mannequins, who blend in as statues. Agents use scanners to track and shoot the Mannequins before they can ambush and freeze them with a touch.

• Quest 3 Visual Enhancements: Upgraded with a number of visual improvements for Meta Quest 3. This includes, material roughness, stronger reflections, higher anisotropic texture filtering, higher MSAA to reduce jaggies, increased LOD distances, all characters have normal maps and nicer first person visuals when posing as a Mannequin.

• 4 Enriched Maps: The game's original maps have been perfected to offer the most balanced and intense experience possible.

• Steam/Meta Quest Cross-Play: Whether you're playing on a standalone or PC, you'll have access to the entire Mannequin player base, with custom matches making it easy to find friends.

• Custom Modes: All of the additions made to Mannequin's custom matches, including the Infected Mode, will be available at launch.
