TOKYO – April 25, 2025 – PLAYISM, the Japanese publishing company known for bringing games from independent developers to players around the world, today announced their participation in PAX East 2025. Bringing six titles to the convention, the booth will offer the opportunity to enjoy playable demos and receive branded game merchandise. Visit PLAYISM at PAX East in Booth #1409, Expo Hall of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11.
Additionally, the company hosted a newly added Spring PLAYISM Game Show on April 25 to showcase upcoming titles. The event kicked off with MC, NEKI and included Shunji Mizutani (PLAYISM) with special appearances from NAMARI KIRIN and video game industry veteran, Shuhei Yoshida. The stream included 13 brand new indie games across a variety of genres from dating sims, to a gun action game with pixel art girls, to a new title in the Touhou Project series, and more. Titles announced included: Behind the Frame x The Star Named EOS (Japan only), CATO, From Madness with Love, NIDANA, Nitro Express, Urban Legend Hunters 2: Double, and Valkyrie of Phantasm. Also included were titles which will be playable at PAX East including: Break Arts III, Glaciered, Mind Diver, MOTIONREC, Outrider Mako, and Skateboard Knight. Skateboard Knight [PC - 2026]
