March 4, 2024 - Hooded Horse is excited to share that Against the Storm’s 1.2 update is out now. First teased as part of Eremite Games’ 2024 roadmap, this latest patch comes with an expedition’s worth of new content, including new Blight Post upgrades, new dialogue options, and a new Trends panel.
The new Trends Panel is unlocked from the very beginning of the game, after the first tutorial, and is designed to give all players a better overview of how a settlement is doing. For new players, this should help in cases where goods disappear for seemingly no reason, and for veterans, it should allow for better production optimization. It comes in four segments: Goods, History, Recent, and Operations.
The Blight Post has been given a brand new model in-game, as well as new tiers of upgrades to help streamline fighting off the Blight in the later stages of the game. Last but not least, a new localization for Latin American Spanish has now been incorporated into the game. The 1.2 update also comes with the usual round of bug-fixing and tweaks, and you can read the full patch notes here.
The Supporter Pack has also been given a bit of a boost, with a new 4K wallpaper, and all of the World Event artwork now included at no extra cost. Starting today, Against the Storm will be available at a 35% discount until March 21.
Against the Storm is available now for PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and PC Game Pass for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,980. It currently holds a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with over 20,000 reviews. A press kit is available.
