EPYX ROGUE IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE NINTENDO ESHOP

Pixel Games UK and Imagine Software are pleased to announce the release of a new update for Epyx Rogue. This update addresses several issues that have been impacting gameplay, further enhancing the overall player experience.

• Fixed an issue where ZL and ZR actions ('Zap' and 'Throw') did not work.
• Fixed an issue where certain achievements were not attainable.
• Fixed an issue where the keyboard to rename items appeared too quickly.
• Fixed an issue where reading a 'wild magic' scroll led to a softlock.
Among the most significant improvements are a number of other issues that were hindering player progress. Crucially, an issue that caused a softlock when reading a 'wild magic' scroll has been corrected, allowing for uninterrupted exploration and interaction with in-game items.
A bug affecting the ZL and ZR buttons, which control the 'Zap' and 'Throw' actions has been resolved. Players previously encountered difficulties using these essential abilities, which have now been fully restored to function as intended, ensuring smoother and more strategic combat.
The update also includes a fix for previously unattainable achievements, ensuring that all in-game goals are now reachable. Additionally, adjustments have been made to the interface, specifically the timing of the keyboard when renaming items, which now appears more appropriately to avoid interrupting gameplay.

- Gather armour, weapons, food and other items to help you on your quest.
- Scour rooms for secret hidden doors and traps.
- Discover strange magical spells and potions, which have different wonderous effects every time you play the game.
- Survive through 26 randomly generated levels, each more tricky and dangerous than the last, to find the Amulet, then escape... if you can!
