Singapore, 17 September 2024 – Garena Undawn is launching its latest content update, Wasteland Storm, on 19 September, bringing new in-game offerings such as a new map, new job, new creatures, and more. Players can also look forward to game optimisations, including level expansion for the Astral Tower mode, as well as upgrades to Dawn Island that will enhance player interactions and provide more customization options.
Players who log in from 12 September to 25 September will be able to redeem event rewards, such as the permanent Exemplar Frontline Assault outfit. What’s more, a ‘Shadow Heart’ Exclusive Title is up for grabs for those who create a character before the patch update on 19 September.
New Map - Kama Department Store
A new area will be revealed in Stygian City. Once a vibrant and bustling shopper’s paradise, Kama Department Store now lies in ruins, with no Survivors in sight — only broken facilities and conflicting factions.
Starting 19 September, Survivors can embark on a thrilling journey into the heart of darkness, uncovering the long-lost secrets of Kama's Department Store.
New Job - Wasteland Hunter
Following several grueling trials to determine the fittest, a new class — the Wasteland Hunter — has emerged among Survivors. Wasteland Hunters play a crucial role in team output, specializing in the use of Compound Bows with tracking abilities, while their self-assembled Pandora mechanical falcons assist them in launching deadly pursuits against enemies. Get ready to conquer the quarters with the Wasteland Hunter's exceptional skills and unwavering determination.
New Creatures
New Creatures will soon take over the world of Undawn. With the help of special Creature Balls, players level 130 and above can capture and unlock these creatures scattered around Aurich Island. Upon capture, these creatures will become reliable assistants in the estate's logging facilities and other workstations, making them indispensable companions.
New Special Ops Weekly Challenge
A new weekly challenge will be launched from 19 September. Players can test their skills and courage by facing randomly selected Blazar Restricted Area bosses, for an exhilarating encounter at a lower difficulty level. Players can also get to earn prizes, such as in-game supplies, by participating in the weekly challenges.
Additionally, Survivors can look forward to new Special Ops, Carmen Fantasy, and a new Blazar Restricted Area Boss, Frenzied Kidd, both launching in October.
Astral Tower Level Expansion and Dawn Island Upgrade now available
Starting 19 September, players can scale new heights and embark on more thrilling challenges in Astral Tower, as the floor level expands to 230 floors. Additionally, rank and floor level resets will be removed, allowing players to seamlessly continue their journey from where they have left off.
Finally, players can get ready for an enhanced homestead experience on Dawn Island, as exciting upgrades introduce immersive features and personalized settings. With the co-living feature, players will be able to invite roommates to collaborate in building an island of their dreams. Players can also invite others to explore new grounds and discover interactive attractions, such as the Seaside Train and hot springs, using the visiting feature.
