[VIRGINIA, October 13, 2022] - It is time to gather your gadgets, weapons, and duct tape! Phantom Hysteria is changing the game this October 13th, 2022.
Phantom Hysteria is a 1-4 player online co-op ghost hunting game. Take on ghost hunting contracts with your taped-together equipment as one of four playable P.I.N.E characters. Hone your skills for your designated class, utilize an array of equipment to decipher your clues, and use that to identify your contracted apparition. Choosing from one of our four custom built maps, you and your team will be required to investigate your phantom, untether them, and neutralize them from this plane - that is if you can manage.
This fast-paced game will keep you on your toes during all three gameplay phases. First, you have the investigation phase where you will need to use a variety of equipment, from an EMF detector to a spirit box, to find out what type of phantom you’re dealing with. You will need to collect 5 pieces of evidence using this equipment and record them on your phone to help narrow down your choices. Once you feel confident with your phantom type, you and your team will initiate a vote from your phone and begin the second phase.
For the untethering phase, you must loosen the phantom’s attachment to the world to make it corporeal and destroy it once and for all. Untethering is achieved by either collecting statue fragments or destroying runes or totems. Once you have succeeded, the phantom will be ready to fight. Your goal during the third and final phase is to neutralize the phantom. Using your preferred weapon, from an EMFG rifle to a holy water-filled water gun, it is time to do battle. While in the neutralization phase, the phantom will become very active and will fight back with all they have to stay in this world.
Available to aid in your fight are perks and abilities from one of our four different classes as well as Arcana cards and gadgets.
Phantom Hysteria will be available to purchase on Steam for $19.99 starting October 13th, 2022.
Lunar Tale Games is also thrilled to announce our planned release on Xbox. Phantom Hysteria will be one of the first true ghost hunting games available to play on console.
