PlaytestCloud Launches PC Playtesting

The Player Insights Platform™ Now Supports All Gaming Platforms

Berlin, Germany –November 12, 2024 – PlaytestCloud’s Player Insights Platform™, renowned for its ease of use and rapid results as a market leader in remote mobile games playtesting, is excited to announce its expansion to support PC, Browser and Steam games.
 

This launch marks a major milestone in the company’s mission to deliver comprehensive player insights from real players to game developers, now with support for all gaming platforms.

PlaytestCloud was the first-ever platform to support remote games research, and has a customer list that includes Ubisoft, Gameloft, Rovio, Zynga, Supercell, Metacore and others.
 

Previously, most games were tested in labs where players were sourced based on proximity to the lab, as well as availability during the working day and the researchers’ own capacity to moderate. The Player Insights Platform™ made it possible for teams of all sizes to scale their research and reach their exact target players: PlaytestCloud also retains a pool of over 1M ready-to-play gamers of all skill levels and interests.
 

Half of the mobile games grossing $5B were tested on the platform, and 60% of studios behind the top 100 games in the US App Store are PlaytestCloud customers. With 5,000 research projects and 78,000 hours of playtests recorded within the last 12 months alone, there is no doubt to the growing demand for actionable player insights—or the scale at which PlaytestCloud can deliver them.
