2023年6月26日，洛杉磯報導——遊戲開發暨發行商Riot Games於今日公開新活動「戰魂鬥士」。這個令人血脈賁張的新活動長達六週，將橫跨全符文大地，為《英雄聯盟》、《激鬥峽谷》、《聯盟戰棋》與《符文大地傳說》帶來全新遊戲內容。「戰魂鬥士」是Riot Games對於格鬥遊戲的致敬，靈感來自對格鬥遊戲以及日本動畫的比武大會劇情，情感上深刻的共鳴以及角色的獨特描寫；此活動將在四款Riot Games符文大地相關遊戲推出新對戰模式、造型、遊戲玩法功能以及其他更多內容。「戰魂鬥士」活動日期為7月20日星期四至8月28日星期一，全球同步進行。

在《英雄聯盟》新的競技場模式，玩家將兩兩組隊，四支隊伍將在回合制戰鬥中輪流PK。在每回合結束時，玩家可以用特殊的強化裝置強化自己，戰到剩下一支隊伍為止。戰鬥場地有四種，大小、地形物密集度與主題都不一樣。戰魂鬥士宇宙的英雄有時候也會在對戰中露個臉，助玩家一臂之力或是扯後腿。

用戶端遊戲體驗：戰魂大賽（《英雄聯盟》限定）

「戰魂大賽」是一個可在遊戲用戶端內遊玩的風格評分制連技戰鬥遊戲。玩家將在遊戲中化身煞蜜拉，並透過進行《英雄聯盟》對戰獲得名望，提升名望後可以挑戰新的對手，解鎖新技能，讓煞蜜拉在大賽中一路晉級。遊戲的目標就是擊敗十位對手，成為大賽的冠軍。玩家每打贏一個對手就可以獲得獎勵，並解鎖故事與專家難度模式，讓新人高手、老鳥菜鳥都能進行不同的挑戰。
