March 24, 2025 - The first DLC for Hooded Horse and Slug Disco’s ant-themed strategy game Empires of the Undergrowth is out now. Empires of the Undergrowth - Exploding Ants is available on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
The Exploding Ants pack introduces new units for both Ants and Termites with explosive potential, opening up new tactical options for defeating enemies of the colony. Two new levels inspired by the main campaign also emerge -- return to The Harvest to eradicate a colony of fire ants, or revisit the rainforests of the Front Line in the hopes of surviving several nights of battle.
Last but not least, fans of the game can pick up the Supporter’s Pack as a separate DLC which is filled with bonus goodies and cosmetics.
Empires of the Undergrowth - Exploding Ants is available on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $4.99 / £4.49 / €4.99 / ¥590. It will be available at a 10% discount until April 7, 2025.
